  10. WinSecure is an M/S Windows Screen Saver that also provides 
  11. workstation messages and Windows Password protection.
  12.  
  13. WHAT'S NEW in Release 2.0
  14. Release 2.0 of WinSecure provides additional security by disabling the 
  15. ability to use the Task List to circumvent the password screen.  It also now 
  16. works with the Windows Control Panel and WinSecure can be set up as 
  17. your default Screen Saver with automatic launching after a specified 
  18. number of idle minutes of no activity.  It can still be activated from icon 
  19. mode using a user-specified Hot-Key, thus providing both on-call access 
  20. and time-delay access.  In addition to responding to keypress and mouse 
  21. clicks, the Screen Saver now also responds to mouse movement.

  23. The Standard Edition for 2.0 also lets you select from any custom pictures 
  24. that you order from Viewpoint and are in the .VPT format.  The 
  25. unregistered defaults are the Windows Logo and a charicature of Bill 
  26. Gates.

  28. There is a Professional Edition also available for ordering, that supports 
  29. selection of any Bitmap, Icon, of Metafile (in addition to .VPT format) as 
  30. your Screen Saver picture.

  32. INSTALLATION
  33. From Windows Program Manager, select File menu, Choose Run and type 
  34. A:\SETUP and press Enter. (If you are setting up from CDROM or other 
  35. than floppy drive A, then substitute that drive's letter in place of 'A'.

  37. LAUNCHING "WIN-SECURE"
  38. Click on the Icon in the "Win-Secure" Program Group or from Program 
  39. Manager, select File menu, choose Run and Type WS_SECUR.EXE.

  41. See the WS_READ.WRI document for further information on launching 
  42. Win-Secure as your default Desktop Screen Saver.
